You are a pedagogical and attentive person who can adapt your approach and working methods to individuals' varying needs and circumstances. You enjoy working with young people and supporting them in their development.
Hörby Municipality offers a number of young people (15-18 years) summer internships within the municipality each year. The young people intern for three weeks in areas such as cleaning, elderly care, and swimming pools. The summer internship provides young people with valuable work experience and inspiration for education and professional life. At the same time, Hörby Municipality has the opportunity to showcase our activities to young people who are our future employees.
Hörby Municipality offers adapted summer internships for young people who need a bit more adjustment than in a regular internship. The need for adjustment may be due to a disability and/or a difficult social situation. Common to the young people in adapted internships is the need for structure and clear instructions, a calm work environment with the possibility of breaks, and/or supportive and close supervision.
As an internship supervisor, your tasks will include:
- Supporting and guiding the interns in their daily work in a clear and structured manner.
- Being the interns' closest contact person during the internship.
- Ensuring that the interns receive the adjustments they need during their summer internship.
- Recording the interns' attendance and contacting guardians if necessary.
- Evaluating the internship period together with the interns.
- Writing an internship report with lessons learned for next year's internship.
You should also be comfortable working practically with the tasks that the interns perform, such as moving light furniture, painting, and general cleaning.
Schedule:
- Week 25: Introduction and preparation for the summer internship.
- Weeks 26-28: The summer internship takes place and you supervise the interns.
- One week in July or August for follow-up and reporting, by agreement with the manager.
You are also expected to participate in a municipal supervisor meeting one morning or afternoon in April or May.
Scope
Part-time 65% for 5 weeks. Hourly paid.
